.The Ugly Addiction.

Best Ugly Bagels

Al Brown's modest empire in Auckland has added another to its expanding roster.  Opening another eatery at an understated location highlighting an understated staple that almost every female (except maybe Americans) are afraid of... Bagels!

Best Ugly bagel's are hand rolled, punched and prodded for ugliness then dipped in honey water before baking in wood fire Montreal style.  Al and his team only use the best New Zealand products to highlight their humble bagel and they reckon bagels should always be toasted as it brings back the chewy inside texture and creates a crisp outer.  Well Al, I can't agree more!

PB&J
Pic's Peanut Butter and Te Horo Rasberry Jam

King
Whitestone cream cheese with Stewart Island Salmon Lox, Red Onion, Capers and fresh Dill

Flat White
Wellington Havana Coffee Works

The bagels here are rustic and smaller compared to the store bought variety but with the local & house made products they use instantly transforms it into an addictive lunchtime treat even the gym junkies across the road can't resist.

Al, you did it again!

P.S. All coffees come with double shot! (it's the only way really....)
